Position Summary: Sells Enesco LLC's products to retail chain stores with a regional or national presence in the United States. Retailers include Disney affiliates, mass merchants, chain-drug stores, specialty retail chains and internet accounts. Represent company in all facets of this relationship including retailer support and service.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: 

  • Identifies and qualifies new sales opportunities with current and new customers to meet assigned sales budgets
  • Supports day to day activities of Disney.com and other internet accounts under the assigned responsibilities
  • Work with the NAE over the Disney accounts to support and grow sales for those accounts
  • Help build and present sales proposals, takes part in negotiations, coordinates complex decision making processes and overcomes objections to closing the sale
  • Prepares written sales proposals
  • Maintain customer relationship by handling all requests and coordinating customer service support. Troubleshoots problems regarding shipping and other services
  • Consults with customer on product placement, merchandising and promotional programs
  • Prepares sales forecasts and progress reports as defined by sales management
  • Keeps informed of new products, services and general information of interest to customers
  • Participate in trade shows and sales meetings as required

Experience, Competencies, and Education:

  • Minimum of three years of experience selling to national or regional retail chains with a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience with Disney and internet accounts is preferred. Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent formal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • EDI and supply-chain experience preferred.
  • A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of marketplace trends, retailer needs and possible application to new business development.
  • Proficient in all MS Office skills.
